Calling all beachcombers........do you love the beach like stymie?  I'm talkin the real beach not all those sand bunkers me and my golf buddies find when we tee it up.......ya know the ocean...sandcastles...seashells...snorkels...briney breezes....well the good folks here at The Hutchinson Island Marriott are pulling together a "clean team"....staff, resort guest, ocean club members, and local residents are joining together for something called International Coastal Clean Up Day on Saturday, September 19th.....See ya there......catch ya

Just me the Stymster checkin' in....I can really get used to this........with all the kids back in school there are some great deals goin' on around here.....they tell me the place should be jumping this Weekend for Labor Day......Drink specials, cook-outs, scavenger hunt and the golf course is part of Patriot Golf Day....golfers can add $1 to their golf fees to help support the Folds of Honor Foundation which helps provide scholarships for the families of veterans who were injured or perished in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan...on Monday a golf clinic will be held with all the proceeds going to this great cause......catch ya

Stymie here ....just passed by the Tennis Center here at The Hutchinson Island Marriott...what a sight...about 20 youngsters lined up for tennis instruction.... I have never seen so many tennis balls.....it seems The Ocean Club runs a summer camp for the stars of tomorrow........the camp runs from 9am to 12:30 pm and includes tennis, golf, and swimming............the kids can sign up for the week or by the day...sure looks like fun to me.....maybe I should give it a shot..........catch ya
